Afternoon everyone.....

For the next twelve days I will be putting my tags on hold and doing a twelve days of Christmas post.

The post is going to be like a Santa’s wish list for stackers......Each day I will post a bar, round or coin that I would love to get as a gift.

Here are the kinda rules I made up for this little posting sequence.

I will start off with the lower dollar items building up to the one thing that would truly blow me away if I got it as a gift.
The items have to be realistic. No one is going to gift you an 1895CC Morgan silver dollar. Unless you are related to Bill Gates or any other billionaire.
The top item can not exceed a value of $2000.

If you like this idea feel free to join in on the fun. If not I hope you enjoy the little bit of fun I’m going to have deciding what I’d like daily.

I have not made any list of items, I’m just going to take it day by day.

So here is today’s choice.

We are getting close to the end. This has been a lot of fun so far.

Today on my list is a coin that has eluded my grasp for some time now. Every time I was going to pull the trigger a new release of a series or new series came out.

It a gold 20 Peso coin from Mexico. The one pictured is 1959, but the year doesn’t matter to me. There is no key date to this coin. I would like it to be at least AU if not BU. Graded is unnecessary.

Oh goodness... that is certainly a great piece to have! It is really beautiful. I like how the Aztec Calendar is placed off skelter. I love that coin! One of the best.

Very nice piece of gold, I've never seen that design before. So has the design remained consistent since 1959?

I forget what yearbit ended by it was a long time ago.i think late 60's. The next gold piece was the libertad

I did not know this piece, but now I am quite interested in it. It is very beautiful, showing the Sun Stone.

The old gold mexican coins are really cool.

It happens. If you look hard enough you can get one fairly close to spot price. Like $30 over.

Thats how I try to pick up new rounds, if I don't get in a hurry usually I will find the nice ones!!😀
