Rare silver ingot for sale here on Steemit!!

in steemsilvergold •  6 years ago

I find It important to try to bring awareness and education to the table when it comes to the silver market. I have posted many articles here that contain information I have gathered during my vintage silver "quest." Thankfully there is a strong precious metal community here! #steemsilvergold

It hit me today that I have never offered anything for sale here! I've done my fair share of GIVEAWAYS. Even giveaways that involved vintage silver. I do sell items at times like most people. Often using Instagram and eBay as platforms. I think it is time to post a couple items here for sale🤔. I often get asked where do you find silver bars like this ? Well, why can't Steemit be one of those places? I figure worst case scenario atleast the community can witness some cool bar's and get familar with current market pricing.

A Very Beautiful Piece of Silver. Thank You for Showing it to us.

It's an awesome looking bar for sure! If my budget wasn't so blown away from the holidays I'd be interested!

Would love to share one of these with someone from steemit ! I've never sold one before 👍

I love it! I will counter offer with Spot - 10%...

Perfect counter!!🙃

Lol. 🤣

Very cool looking piece but I don't understand how it can be valued at what you are asking when silver is around $16 an ounce. I am not saying it's not worth what you are asking. I just don't understand why.

@angrycapitalist the vintage collectible silver market develops it's pricing based off of demand and collectability. The Arizona assay office ingots were part of the famous John J Ford Jr. and the Franklin Hoard. The numismatic value with the silver bar's is similar to coins. Based on rarity, condition, dates, and quality. There is just no "grey sheet" for silver bar's like there is with coins. Recent auction sales and private sales exceed 1700 on the Arizona assay office ingots. Appreciate you taking the time to ask this question. Enjoy the rest of your weekend✌

@angrycapitallist I encourage you to look into US Mint of San Francisco 5oz class ingots. Produced in 1950s as well. There is a good size collectable market for them. Typically sell anywhere between $2600.00 - $3500.00 USD. Many people don't realize how strong this market is. Keep your eyes out for local items👍

Wow! Very cool piece of Ag history — but damn! That’s a hefty primo!!! 😳🤑🤑🤩🤩
Great bar!!!

Oh yes @thedamus! About as good as it gets right now for vintage silver..👊

🤑🤩🤑

I think you should Donate it to the Next Monster Raffle...

IN GOD WE TRUST THE PLAN...

Lol that would be quite the donation

It is rather expensive... Guess what the “after” Reset price would be in U.S. Crypto-Dollars...???

Sure is expensive ! What's the reset price....

Your asking, just made me laugh, but based on your $1,700 Value, I'll say the Reset Price will be about 17.00 in U.S. Crypto-Dollars...
