So, i have been on this steemit thing here for around 2 weeks now and i can see that it is a close community and has the ingredients to become something special. I have decided to add some steem to me wallet and see what if any effect it has on my earnings. I also see that it take me some time to gather steempower so i decided to give it a little push so that when i upvote someones posts and maybe earn a little more.
Right now, my earning are very low, i have around 50 followers and have earned around 3 Steem to date. I make around 2-4 posts a day and for the last 4 days have been using https://steemstats.com/#!/ to help me make my replies and comments. This helps me beable to reply back to everyone without being missed. I really try my best to reply back to every comment. Its a very good tool with a few handy stats. Im not really sure the best way to go about making money on here, i guess i am just going to keep on making posts everyday, making comments, replying and upvoting want i like and see how that works out.
I have today transfered over some bitcoin through blockrtades to buy around 170 steem which i have converted all into steempower. I do not know what if any effect this will have but i am going to give it go for a month and if it goes well, i might throw another £300-600 into this here platform. I am a little excited but nervous also, i have had to worst time with bitcoin so far. Do you think it will have any effect for me? Will i notice anything different?
As for the community, it is unreal. I have joined a silver/gold stacking group #steemilvergold and have made a few friends already. Not gonna post up names, but i can think of 6-7 people already who i have had alot of exchanges with and learned a few things from. People are just great on here, i dont see any haters yet. I guess its not mainstream enough yet. I hope to continue to make posts on here, i will continue to read other posts, leave comments, upvotes and be around these place for a long time. How great would it be to be a full time blogger, thinks its doable with 3-4 years of grinding it out?

Thats true. I have not put much thought into that to be honest. I was thinking more about getting some steempower and seeing what i can do with that. If it goes up, its bonus :) Thanks for commenting

I think the stacking community is starting to build its own network on steemit, at the minute our votes dont count for much but that wont always be the case. We are all adding little every day, i try and up vote at least 10 times a day to the silver community and make comments to add steem power, the stronger we are collectively the better we all do. I also use a couple of votes elsewhere to test other communities.

my voting power is at 24%, so will be chilling for a few days to let it build so when i do leave an upvote, it will be worth more. I too pretty do 95% within silver/gold stacking posts.

Ive learnt that steemit is a game with rules, your account is like a character in a strategy game and your voting power the weapon, you have to recharge and use your weapon at the best times and upgrade your weapon when you can, forge alliances and vanquish enemies, ok theres no enemies but i can dream lol. Im starting off by posting all my coins, not just to build my character but to document my collection coin by coin for my own interest first and hopefully build something on here.

Yeah same here.....this concept blows my mind being my 1st week on here and is awesome. still learning whats what and i don't exactly know what i doing..but thats how we learn from others and then you share that knowledge with others and the word rolls out...
