Welcome the weekly membership list. There have been a few things happening this week as always but the big news has to be the talk about the 2018 Steemit silver round. This will again be spearheaded by @sevinwilson and @phelimint this year, they did a great job arranging and getting it done in lightening speed last year. What they gave us in around 8-9 weeks from idea to delivered was unreal. In those 9 weeks, sevinwilson gave us the idea, i held coin design contests and the community voted our winner @bearone, then the design was mastered and dies were made with blank silver rounds being reserved by phelimint. Next up over the course of 2 runs, 1500 silver coins were stamped and cleaned. Lastly they were capsuled and shipped out asap by phelimint. I think most coins were sold by the time they were pressed. Each coin has a mintage number on the edge and comes with a COA.
If @phelimint is reading, number 12 again, hint, hint.

I think everyone here has been impressed with what the Steemit community has been to accomplish in not even two years. After talking with @phelimint we thought it would be unheard of to get the price of this coin as close to spot as possible by donating all of the SBD that any posts we make regarding the Steem Round go to a fund that will offset the final price of the coin. With that being said, we have created an account, @steemsilverround, that we will deposit all SBD earnings from posts related to the coin. We encourage others that post and promote the coin to donate the SBD from their posts to @steemsilverround. We have already received a donation from @tzcap!!

#steemsilvergold Updates

In a nutshell. Their will be weekly membership updates every Monday evening and there will be 2 tables every week.
1/ The first table is a list of the current #steemsilvergold members. Beside each members name are 2 blank boxes to be used if they wish you nominate/sponsor a user to become a member. Each members gets 2 votes per week
2/ The second table will be used for adding new members. As someone is nominated, there user name will be added to the table along with their group nominator in the next box over. The 3rd and 4th boxes are for a 2nd sponsor from the group and the 3rd sponsor will a group mod. Thats either me @stackstackeruk, @raybrockman are @philimint

Getting a sponsor looks to be the easy part, getting users nominated looks to be a little harder. If you see anyone who would be a great addition to the group, don't be shy in the comments section. (Each member gets 2 votes per week)

First, new members must be nominated by a group member
Then they need to find a 2nd member to sponsor them
And finally a group mod will give the final yes are no

My role

Post the updated membership list on Monday evening
Edit in members votes every day by 9pm GMT through the week
Add new members that get 3 votes on a Monday afternoons
Post the new updated Membership list on Monday evening
and over and over and over........till im old and grey

Hi all. Any chance I could get a couple of sponsors to help join the team? I'm quite enjoying the stacking posts, and it has made me start my own small stack... Early days, but hooked deep!! Wife has told me to slow down already lol!
