It's been 10 Years, Don't you Think The US Mint Should Be Making These 1/10 Oz. Platinum Coins for Stackers Again ???

This 2008 Platinum Statue of Liberty 1/10 Oz. Coin was the Last Year that The US Mint made These Coins for The Stacker and Collector Market. Isn't it Time with Platinum at About Half The Price per Ounce it was 10 Years Ago to Bring This Coin back to The Collecting Public ??

That is a great looking coin!

Oh my... pitter patter...

@silversaver888 I Know what you Like and You Know that I Know..............

I'd like to see the return of the platinum eagles in fractional sizes

Agreed and Thank you for your Comment and Resteem. @mrmonkeyswag96 it is good to see you active here.

I don't know enough about the different coins.

@brianphobos That is OK since you have people like me that can answer many questions that may come up about coins......
By the Way the US Mint has Minted these Platinum Coins from 1997-2008 in the sizes of 1 Oz., 1/2 Oz., 1/4 Oz. and 1/10 Oz. such as the one I pictured here...............

They were minted that way since the price was well over $2000 the ounce and a hefty premium over gold. With its current price historically under gold, and no one caring about precious metal investing, it seems the mint has no care to stamp out these fractional gems. any thoughts?

@rollingthunder it would be great to see them start minting them again. I think they would be pretty popular in the 1/10 Oz. Size. I have to say that currently the US Mint does put out a lot of stuff that will never have any long term value.

Being that they have a Ten Dollar Face Value, (if my P.C. Theory is correct) means that they will have the Purchasing Power of 1,000 Federal Reserve Note Dollars (after the Reset)... But the same could also be said about a roll of common U.S. Quarter Dollars... Who says U.S. Coinage will never have, "long term value"...???

I have no platinum coin and I didn't know that the Mint had stopped its production. I will search the Internet to know their prices. Maybe I can find a good deal...

That liberty looks a little tears eyed.😢

What is with the US mint lagging so hard on the cool stuff. I hope they start minting the 1/10 oz again.
