Showing Off Some Steem SWAG & The Currency Of The Apocalypse!

Hey-ooooooo. I want to show off some of my Steemit winnings this week. I have to say I just love how giving some people are here. not only giving things and stuff but giving of time and info. I have learned many things here and I am grateful to the people who share what they know.

First I want to say thanks (and talk a little about) @tecnosgirl. Thanks for the cool magnet and awesome deck of cards @tecnosgirl. I won my first game of solitaire using these beauties.

Of all the people I follow, I feel I know her best. This sounds strange to me as we do not truly know each other and have had only a few lines of dialog here and on discord. But her posts seem the most personal and real-life to me and I really enjoy it. I mean I know about the new house she had built and all the pitfalls and joys of that process, I think she burnt her hand recently but I did NOT want to see the pictures so I did not read that post!!

I've met her son, seen her Steemit license plate and now won TWO steemit items just from commenting on her posts. She loves to give stuff away and she don't take any shit from spam comments :)

I love these things! I bought a few of the copper ones a while back and gave them away to people I met out and about. From what I can tell, these were minted in 2013-2015 by Provident Metals, and they are cool as hell. They kind of look like regular coins at first glance....but they are not!

Well, it's getting late, so I'm gonna put my cards away and tuck my silver under my pillow (in case of the apocalypse) and hope to see you all tomorrow...

Oh and it was my mom who burnt her hand not me. She has sezuires and had one while cooking. We are looking into the induction cooking tops for her. This is the first time something like this has ever happen but we want it to be the last time too.

Oh jeeze hope she is healing well. Yeah, induction cook-tops are great. A little pricey but would be worth it in this case I believe. Another consideration is the cookware has to be magnetic, like stainless steel or cast iron. Good luck.

We are looking into some single counter top ones. She has a glass top stove now so she can set them on the stove and plug them in. We can get her 4 burners for under $200 to replace the entire stove would cost $1500 on the cheap end. So we are gonna do it cheap. And she is healing nicely.

Awesome plan. Induction cooks fast and is so fun to use.
