My father was one of the kindest and most generous men i have ever met. But he was also often inappropriate and almost always irreverent. I’d like to think the apple hasn’t fallen far from the tree.
This year marks the second Father’s Day i have not had me dear ol’ dad around, and also, the second year that i have enjoyed being a father myself. Grandpa H missed meeting Leon by 13days...
And actually, it was kind of perfect all things considered...it was like a re-birth of the pharoh or something and made the gravity of the situation all the more real...
For all of you out there: sons, daughters, mothers and fathers, Happy Father’s Day — we’re all in this together!

I think that poem gave me a far better idea of your dad than the words ever could. Poetry has a way with a man's mind, Tells you more in a few short words than even a whole book ever could.
