What the Frickety-Frack!!!?

The last couple days have been insane in the membrane — insane in the brain!

How does a stacker even answer to this rise? I bought my sons’ 1oz Au Queen’s Beasts coins when btc took out the price of gold...

If i had waited until today i could have given them a 10oz bar — EACH!!! — and still had a few grand in my jeans...

Bitcoin is a monster — 👹👹👹👹👹

...and Ag is getting hammered. So what do you do? Well here’s what i’m doing: i’m buying metal, ‘cause it’s really cheap. But more importantly, i’m not selling metal to get into bitcoin. Just like you, i earn fiat dollars and this is what i spend on buying bitcoin, so i can trade it, and make more bitcoin. Then i take bitcoin on-line and buy silver like it’s bulk raddishes... full disclosure: tonight i bought $220 cad of $21,000 btc. It’s madness!!!

And even though i am ** sure** we’ll see 100k bitcoin next couple of years i’m still not selling my silver... Why? Because who knows how rare investment grade bullion will become? When you think that every single phone, car, fridge, solar panel, lightswitch etc., Uses Ag, and it is required, the explosion of this asset could be wild-ass too. Afterall, there is remarkably little of this product actually stored anywhere — everyone thinks it’s common because of how many paper ounces there are out there. “Silver” is just a shitty investment as far as most people, and professional investors are concerned...

Inexplicably, i am absoluey sure that in the short term btc will blow Ag out of the water, but i am still unwilling to sell my stack cheap to buy pricey crypto.

I don’t know what to say about this... except i am abso fabso lootly fucking convinced, that my Silver will never do any harm. And it will always be precious... and useful!

Fuck!!! N Korea may blow out the grid, and the Zombies may start groaning theough you neighbourhood, or a new global gold buck may become world reserve currency... if you’re still around!

But i digress...

Here’s some pics of recent booty! And i have a story to tell...

And the Armenian Noah’s Ark...

Here’s the story: So i gave my partner a 1oz Noah’s Ark coin which he really enjoyed, and he gave me back the “bitcoin” token! It’s a knock-off of the originals, but we laughed about how it could be forfeitted to a noob whonwas trying to rip you off... the “bitcoin” in opening photo is akin to the 100 Trill Zimbo note —

It’s crazy times! And I’m drunk as fuck!...! I’d say buy POE (po.et) as hard as you can. Seriously. And otherwise stack some more of that sexy shiny. Get on board mofos — do it the easy way

Cool beans!!!

You tell them man, I worry that people are tempted to sell there silver to jump onto the bitcoin wagon. You are a smart man and definitely keep both.

Thats see seriously sound advice my friend! I have to say I'm largely on the same page! My ultimate short term financial goals are the accumulation of metals. I will cryptos as leverage to accumulate more than if I just dealt in fiat. I will buy cryptos with fiat, but never exchange my metals for crypto. So far this strategy is working for me. As long as we have a clear goal and a strategy I think that we'll be all good! Keep it stacking!! ~Hratch

😎👍

I'm torn between a rock and a hard place. I want to get in on cryptocurrency but I'm still a full silver hoar!! I had the opportunity to buy cryptos but spent big on silver. Yes my returns on bitcoin and litecoin would have been amazing, but I have faith in silver and it's not my future it's saving, but my sons and possibly any kids he may have

Get some. asap. buy LTC. Do it.

Found a site called bittylicious where you can exchange ££££ for cryptos, it has a coin there called Vertcoin which looks spit and dab like LTC and only £6.50 a coin, it may be a good way to get into crypto. Make sure you have a vertcoin wallet on your computer. Good luck

Yeah, I don't know about vertcoin. Scalability and transaction speed/fees are huge obstacles.. I'm buying up LTC, eos & bitshares because of these factors alone.

...shitcoin

The question that runs through my Brain is... What does the rising price of BitCoin tell us about the Fall of the Fiat Debt Notes...??? When BitCoin reaches 100,000 Fiat Debt Notes, what will it's Purchasing Power be...??? Sorry... I'm sticking to my Pocket Change Theory...
@pocketechange

Your pocket change theory rests on the assumption that people will want fractions of fed notes — they are denominated in the very thing you/we despise. If people will not want the note, why will they want a worthless token?

Wow... You couldn't be more wrong about my theory... A ONE CENT U.S. Coin will have the "SAME" Purchasing Power as a One dollar Federal Reserve (Debt) Note... You must have been reading my Posts all wrong... Take another look at my Coinage verses Paper post... My P.C. Theory says there will be a "RESET" in the Value of U.S. Coinage... The Debt Notes will not be reset, because they don't even belong to us... They are on "LOAN" to us with "INTEREST" attached until they are returned to their Owners... You were 100% correct is saying that we despise the Debt Notes...
@pocketechange

I think metals are a proven test of time. They may fluctuate but they will always have value. So it is definately a safer investment.
As @raybrockman just commented... stackem both!

Hell yes!

Precious metals are always a good choice for wealth storing.
Crypto is different, money just beginning to flow in the ecosystem, crypto market cap will settle one day, but we are still far from that moment.

If crypto becomes either a medium of exchange and store of value worldwide the whole coin market cap could easily go to 20 trillion.

I'd have to agree.

The bitcoin market today feels very similar to the atmosphere around the property market around 2006/2007. So glad that I'm getting into crypto via steem, at least it's based on a tangible social media/networking platform, meanwhile bitcoin is simply an idea that has no intrinsic value the second people lose confidence.
Anyway many thanks for sharing @freemon. I will keep my eye on bitcoin with interest!

I agree. I like the idea that Steem has a popular application running on the blockchain. It's easier to answer the question: "But what is it for?" It helps give Steem some credibility as both a currency and a commodity because the Steem guys actually made something out of their system.

i'd have to disagree... with all due respect

Bitcoin is backed by the most powerful computing network there has ever been! It is true that the "coin" itself is intangible, but the network and the things that can be accomplished with btc is staggering.

I am hoping we see i nive correction down to like 17000 cdn i wanna buy but i dont like buying on the rise for clear reason lol...

Also have you saw what litecoin is doing it is a keeper i see 1000usd for lite in 2018

Awesome post friend...

thanks for your awesome post..... and all of picture was nice... you are doing great man....

really helpfull & learning blog thx for share👌👌

I've fallen off investing in precious metals to buy cryptos but 2018 i'm going to get serious about silver

If you've been buying cryptos you are going to enjoy spending them on metals -- talk about a great exchange rate!

That’s very true. Cryptos go up, metals stay about the same. It would be great to trade cryptos for metals. I think that is going to be my startegy. Gain wealth, then store it in metals.

buy ltc and omg

wow very nice article

Thanks for sharing this post.

Yesterday you have introduced the wise. you have bought very good bitcoin. After a few day they will see profits.

Bitcoin is behaving like a giant. Bitcoin increase day by day, I hope Bitcoin can go a long way.It is hard to tell about the impact of social communication.

Good post. Me too i stack both crypto and precious metals. Even there are bigger gains to make today with BTC, metals are more secure store in value. Also if global econmy and the financial system won't change their course (which actually i believe will be the case), we will ceratinly see a huge increase in demand and price for metals in the future. Thank you! And i agree with your approach.

Exactly - convert some of your crypto profits into physical silver & gold. That way, if/when the bottom falls out of BitCoin, even if you only converted 20% of your profits over to physical, you'll still be sitting pretty. No reason to go jump off of a bridge if the G20 all ban BitCoin on the same day. Upvoted and resteemed.

Interesting information, it's time to see what's going to happen.
If there is a crash, I believe it will just be in the short term. Crypto has a lot of room to grow, and of course, steemit too.

We are lucky to be here.

I wouldn't sell my shiny for crypto either. They have different functions in similar scenario. Gotta like them both, at the end of the day they have the same intentions. I still prefer metals tho.

Nice collection that you have! :)
There are some people i know selling gold and silver to buy bitcoin, i think you should try to hold both!!

It’s crazy times my friend. Emotion is now fueling this beast. A wise man once said when the taxi driver is giving out stock tips it’s time to get out of the market. Well I’m thinking that BItcoin is fast approaching that territory. PM are the real deal when it comes to the next financial shit fight and that could break at an moment.
PS Love the Storm Troopers

Great advice @thedamus thanks for sharing

I am new to the cryptos (as of a couple of months) and what a ride this is.... I don't see an end in sight. I see the cryptos going in waves from BTC to LTC and back where the wave of increase is high for one, then the next takes off. It seems there is a trend of buying/selling into and out of the various cryptos based on whichever one is on the rise.
I am stacking precious metals and there's no way I'd sell out of them and into cryptos. But I will split my normal stacker cash, so half goes in to the metals stack and then put the other half in to cryptos.
At the Local Coin Shop, it's hard to walk out with only half of what I want, especially with today's sale price on silver.
But then I can look at the crypto stack and see the rise.
