I'm still working on pouring silver and figured I may as well get a stamp. All the common ones are used by other pourers so I found one that fits for me. It's my great state of Michigan! I also got the Alphabet and 0-9. Now I need a .999fs and ozt stamp. Then we'll be rocking. All in due time I suppose. Check these out.
First whack with the Hammer
I'd never stamped any of my pours before. So I grabbed the Brass Hammer and gave the stamp a few good whacks. The stamp looks pretty decent. I decided to try to add some letters. They are crooked but not bad for a first try.
Now I'm waiting for my crucibles and Stainless Shot to show up. I may even put some up for sale if there is any interest. Time to get to work.

hiya cool stamps, i am looking forward to seeing some of your pourings :) i will be interested the only silver i buy is either coins/bars or pourings, as long as its three nines silver :) i love buying pourings more than anything else even coins, to me pourings are the best its someones love talent and spirit in silver how can you get better than the spark of creation immortalised in silver? :) therefor i prefer to buy a good pouring than anything else, good luck with all your adventures i wish you much success, hope you have a wonderful day my full respect to you

I think it looks better just with VG. The Michigan stamp is just a squigly line and unrecognisable to most people.
