Visualizing my first silver pour

Enter the scene. I walk into my barn. The lights are low with the smell
of burning hardwood in the air. My virgin crucible lays quivering on my
bench waiting for her first heating cycle. The sound of Marvin Gaye plays
softly in the background to help calm my nerves. I look around and make
sure all supplies are ready for tonight's date with destiny.

A hissing sound fills my ears as I light the torches. The propane is lit
as I begin to warm the mold. My MAP gas is now ready to begin the melting
process. The flame touches the crucible heating it ever so gently. When
I finally get it warmed up, I dump my first load of silver shot in her.

Everything is going perfectly. The shot begins to warm and the bb's turn
to a large shiny mass. With a big grin I think to myself, this is as
easy as all the videos I've watched of the pros doing it.

Suddenly a barn cat jumps up on the bench and knocks over the torch. I
step back to try and catch it but trip over my spare VW parts. The torch
has now ignited a small pile of magnesium from clearancing engine cases.
The magnesium is now burning like an incendiary round and heading towards
the rest of the cases. The mag cases have now caught fire are now burning hotter than thermite
through steel beams on a building demolition site.

Luckily the fire department is only 3 blocks from the house. They show up
with lights and sirens blazing. Ready to extinguish the blaze they turn
on the water. This only makes the magnesium fire burn hotter. Soon it is
burning towards the rear of the barn where I store my other tanks. 400lbs
of propane sitting waiting to be used in the Hi-Lo.

Before you know it a loud explosion rocks my neighborhood. My barn is now
leveled and the carcasses of my classic cars sit there unrecognizable
burning through the night.

I awaken covered in sweat and confused. Quickly I run to the computer and
start pricing some of the hand poured rounds and bars made by the pros in
The Metals Mafia and Steemsilvergold group. These pours should help ease
my stackitus until I have enough experience to start pouring my own.
