I asked for help and @edxserverus stepped up again. I asked for an acorn design between each word on the outer rim and he delivered. Now I had pictured an individual acorn pointing towards the centre but the extra leaf is a great touch. I wouldn't change this... What do you think?
I asked for the steem logo design to be incorporated into the tree trunk and once again he delivered. Now I originally wanted to continue with the same centre piece as last years round, the logo within a circle but I rather like this and it's growing on me. I think it will look really good as a 3d design on the coin. What do you think?
What do people think of the extra fish? I'm on the fence with these. There has been a lot of good feedback but I just don't know. When I pictured the round in my head, the background of the coin(behind the tree and roots) was purposely left plank because I felt that this coin could actually be made into a proof and/or have a mirrored finish, if there was ever a call to make an additional 1 off extra 100 special addition rounds. So for me I would do away with the fish in the roots and the fish "flying" around the tree. But as this is a community round, your feedback is NEEDED. I think the round will be busy enough without adding the extra fish. Extra fish yes or no?

I like the fish in the roots area but the line of fish flowing through the center might be too much. I admit it does look really good, just not sure if it would look too busy once it is pressed out and in hand.

My honest opinion is that i like the over all design, however I would remove the fish in the center line. I would leave them everywhere else. I think in the center they make the round look kind of crowded and tight. This is just my view whether you agree or not that is of course up to you. Great work by the way my friend!!

I think the design looks awesome. I love the carving in the tree and the acorn in between the words. I'm not partial to the extra fish in the middle. However I do kind of like them in the roots.

The tropical fish in the roots do not match the rest the design. Why is there a tropical fish aquarium inside the roots? Would be better if there were more fine roots, or letters in the roots that formed short words. In the foliage, the fish are fun surprises to find, so it makes more sense.
Take it with a grain of salt. I'm really glad this design won.

The acorns are proper smart and the steem logo in the tree trunk is amazing. Being just a 1oz coin i do think all the extra fish could make the design a little cluttered and busy. If you wanted a fish related item in the roots you could change the banner round the date to be the shape of a whales tail fin as though it is diving under the roots.
