We're excited to announce the launch of the "Monster Raffle," an innovative and collaborative effort designed to support the #SilverGoldStackers community. This global raffle, powered by generous donations from our members, aims to raise funds to enhance our community account, @ssg-community, which is dedicated to curating high-quality content created by our members. Here's how you can get involved and make a difference.
The primary goal of the Monster Raffle is to raise funds to lease Hive Power for the @ssg-community account. By increasing our Hive Power, we can curate and upvote more high-quality content, providing greater rewards to our contributors and fostering a vibrant and active community.
Prize donations
We welcome donations of precious metals, particularly silver, from community members. While a minimum donation of 1oz of silver is recommended, we understand that not everyone can donate at this level. This is where our "prizes hub" concept comes into play.
The prizes hub is a unique feature designed to enable every community member to contribute, regardless of the size of their donation. Here's how it works:
- Regional Hubs: We will establish regional prize hubs globally, starting with the first one in Europe. Additional hubs can be set up based on demand.
- Trusted Custodians: Each hub will have a trusted community member acting as the custodian. This person will manage the collection and consolidation of smaller donations.
- Smaller Donations: Members who can't donate the minimum 1oz of silver can contribute smaller amounts of fractional silver or cryptocurrency.
- Combining Donations: The hub trustee will combine these smaller donations to create larger, more valuable prize pots.
This system ensures that even those new to their precious metals journey or those with limited resources can still participate and support the community.
We welcome donations of all precious metals, with a preference for silver. Notable donations already include various silver coins and bars, but gold and other precious metals are also appreciated. By pooling our resources, we can offer a diverse array of exciting prizes that will appeal to a wide audience.
All community members are encouraged to participate by donating a prize or buying raffle tickets. Tickets for the Monster Raffle will go on sale in a few weeks, with the price expected to be around $1 USD. This affordable price point allows for broad participation and maximises our fundraising potential.
Rewards and Benefits
While there is no direct return for donors, the entire community benefits from the enhanced curation and upvotes provided by the @ssg-community account. Additionally, we are exploring the possibility of rewarding donors with our very own crypto token, "precious." Although this is not yet confirmed, it represents an exciting potential incentive for contributors.
