The brand new, 2024, 1oz @backyard bullion, "BYB" bar has officially landed.... After what feels like a blink of an eye, the next bar in the series has been meticulously(ill touch on this later) hand-poured and stamped by the now world famous backyardbullion.
As his brand grows from strength to strength, backyardbullion still manages to give a personal touch and keep his loyal followers happy with his down to earth approach to pouring and stacking silver.
The 2024 bar follows on from its predecessors. The design has been kept simple, but the branding is front and foremost. Ive managed to secure my number 11 with matching CoA.
What sets BYB apart from other hand pourers is the fact that every piece of his artwork has been sent to the Edinburgh assey office to be hallmarked and laser engraved with with own stamp and year of making.
I mentioned it earlier, and this may be the first time ive ever heard of this from BYB, but can you spot the "error" on my most recent bar??
Having had a chat with him earlier, he confirmed that there are only 19 so called "error" bars out there, numbers 1 - 19 where by mistake, he stamped /200 and not the limited mintage of just 100.... He was hoping thay no one would really have noticed, but with my keen eye for detail(hahahhahaha) i actually spotted it instantly. He tried to correct his mistake by over stamping the number 1, but i can still make out the 2 of 200 underneath.
I dont know if this will add or detract value to this series. But all i know is that its irrelevant as ill never sell...
