If you had said to me a few weeks ago that things would have panned out they way they have, I would have said there is more chance of hell freezing over. Well I woke up this morning to this...
Now I'm not saying I live I hell but I couldn't think of any other way to start this blog off!
I WILL WARN YOU NOW, I MAY SWEAR AND SOME THINGS MIGHT RUB A BIT TO CLOSE TO THE BONE
I try and read all the new posts that appear in my feed and I've seen a lot of people commenting in different posts for the last 2 days.
So although I don't think I've kept my position quiet, it's time to clear the air and confirm where I stand!!
I stand with #SSG and not with Stax. We all know ssg is not Stax and Stax is not ssg.
Unfortunately I was not able to make the live chat on discord, but after listening to it all (thanks to @sevinwilson), first up thanks to all involved for keeping their cool and for clearing up a few things.
To be honest I'm still in a state of shock!!
Im not normally lost for words but I am finding it hard to get out all the things that are going around in my head.
I saw Stax as a community owned bot, managed by Phil. Which is why, when ever there was a decision about how she was developing ie name, image, tiers, etc it was always put the US, the community to decide. If, as he now claims the bot was his, why not just implement what ever he thought best and save us all the effort. Maybe he thought by blogging about it and getting the group input he could generate more income for himself all along?
Now I'm going to move straight on to something that has really pissed me off, sorry if I keep jumping but my brains all over the place still!!
Why would someone that thinks they own the bot, allow the community to decide if they should receive compensation (payment) for running it?? He says he always thought he owned Stax and if this is the case then still paying himself 100% upvote, in my opinion was deceitful. If it was always Phil intention to claim ownership of the bot then "owning" the wallet should have been his reward. Why would he ask the community to vote on this matter if the decision was his all along.
I know I'm repeating myself but I'm baffled. My only conclusion is that he was TAKING US ALL FOR A RIDE ALL ALONG and that's the bit that hurts the most. I can live with being fooled, I can live with putting my trust in a fake, I can live with all that, sometimes I'm too trusting, but I cannot comprehend why!! Why would you risk it all for a little bit of money??? Grrrrrr......
Why did he think so many people were willing to delegate so early on, myself included? Why did he think the likes of Ray raised so much money to give to help grow the sp? It wasn't for Phils benefit!! It was to benefit every member of SSG. Phil must have been laughing himself to sleep every night of the week, thinking he's found a great cash-cow now. I'm just thankful it came out now and not another 6/12month down the line.
News spreads fast in the stacking community and why would he risk phelimints reputation within in it?
I've just realised I'm asking more and more questions that I don't even want answers to. I'm done with Staxx. Stax is dead long live ssg.
Sorry this post is crap, I've typed, deleted, typed again and deleted again lots of things I've been thinking all throughout the day and now the post is all over the place with no real content.
Look I'm sure we can all put this behind us and move on, grow and even one day forgive.
All I know is that the community needs a sugar daddy/mummy in the form of a bot, that's owned, run and maintained for and by the community. We need a way for the larger minnows to help the newer ones grow. So that's what will be done.
Once again sorry this post is all over the place and a total waste of time but I'm glad you made it to the end.
Much love xx
Thanks for your opinion, you explained yourself well. Good to hear opinions from the leaders of the SSG community......Long live SSG.

Welcome to steemit life, power corrupts and i have seen it many times.
voting bots are for consolidation of power not for helping your "community".
If you want to help and grow your community then upvote stuff and make stuff people will upvote back.
A pay to win upvote service does not help the platform in any way, infact it hurts the platform.
Death to all bots and alt account!
Down with all premined steem!
End the censorship before its to late!

You rambling motherfucker! Lol
Not so bad really Weshie, and you do make a dew good points — especially why Phil would ask for votes on issues that were his alone to decide.
Phil is a cunt and that’s all there is to it. I have been thinking a lot about this too, and going forward i will actively be making moves to separate myself from anything to do with him, stax, or anybody involved with him or stax. I really don’t care about the money, the rep numbers, or, how many followers i have.
There will be some time before this occurs, but anyone who is involved with phil or stax has serious ethical dementia and i want none of that bad mojo anywhere near me or my profile.
Cheers buddy!

A new bot run for the community with rules and safeties in place would be a great idea, I have listened to the whole of the session and I am still stunned, there was one thing that stuck and that was delegation for krill and minnows. Now I know when starting out you don't get enough sp to delegate any away so I was thinking that if there was a similar way people where elected to stax but the person who nominated them should front the delegation for a period until that person is able to replace the sponsors delegation with there own. Not an obscene amount, maybe 2 steem delegation for 0.5% upvote or something like that as I am not the best with arithmetic or the formulas for this. But if lessons are not learned from history we are doomed to repeat it.

It was not all over the place. You made some great points and about possibly implementing a new community bot. If done correctly, it can really help the newbies grow and can be a great thing. I am ready to see what the next chapter of #ssg has in store because better times are ahead!

We're all in shock by Phelis response. I can't help but thinking he knew what he was doing all along too. The way this thing was ran and presented was all community and now this. I'm beyond pissed and I think everyone is. We don't deserve this and we don't need Stax or Pheli around anymore

Yeah man it to me seems like you all been taken for a ride and it all don't add up. none of it.. not the first time or the last time someone will get suckered into a good thing only to find out all along there faith and trust was misguided.. although is a lesson learned for those involved. As i not been on for a while i missed a big chunk of whats gone on in #ssg. but this could be a good thing moving forward for all of us. we do need to focus on the group more plus my Voting Power down to 79.66% today. so no more upvoting today hehe...But that is a problem of steems own making and having a group on it as we have. wealth equals power which i have none...but that don't bother me not why i joined steem or the group and i don't think you can take content about pm's past a certain level...as just not the intrest outside our small stacking community not just the group.
Any bot will become more and more powerfull as time goes on as all of us are day by day no easy solutions to anything really but if we act as a group and vote as a group is a bot really needed. anyone of us could post and it be upvoted over other content in the group thats better and thats not good for the group or the quality of the content in the long run.
I'm no expert in bots but they just my thoughts.
