The Steemit Silver Coin
A few days ago @sevinwilson published a Post, in which he proposed the idea of an exclusive Steem Silver coin and as it seems the project found a lot of supporters already. The coin itself will be a custom made 1oz .999 fine silver coin with a limited number of max 1500 pcs only.
The coin will be custom made based on the winning design coming from the Steemit Community itself. Actually you might take a look at the blogs of @sevinwilson or @phelimint, in case you got a creative mind as the Design contest is still open until 06. September. You might win up to 15 SBD in case your Design gets chosen, so it´s definitely worth a try :)
The final design will be chosen through the Community in the end, so that it´s really a Steem coin from Steemians and for Steemians. To give you an idea how the coin might look, here are some Design Ideas, which got submitted so far.
How to get some Steem Silver Coins
Currently Preorders of 20 coins are accepted and you are able to pay with CAD or USD but I guess some Steem or other Cryptocurrencies should be sufficient as well. The price of 20+ coins is locked at 23.50 USD/coin with a flat rate of 15$ for shipping within the USA and 25-40$ for most international shipments.
But don´t worry, it seems like orders of lower quantities will be possible as well. Our two fellow Steemians are currently working hard on the Project, publishing new information on it almost every single day.
