The voting took off at an amazing rate and some designs are quickly pulling out front. Others are also starting to get left behind and many very good designs are loosing ground.

I want to take this chance to further clarify some things to help with the voting process

Remember you can cast up to 3 votes in the round, so even though you may have a strong favorite, you can use you other vote to help some other designs or play spoiler. We really want the max engagement.
Please don't hesitate to canvas for your design, or canvas for a design that you like. Write a post encouraging people to vote, explain why it's a better option than some other ones.
Remember bot and automated votes don't count and it's based solely on the number of votes and not value.
Please consider the design carefully and not the state of the art work provided as some are sketches and some of fancy 3d renderings.
Only votes cast as upvotes in my comments on the voting post will count, additional comments and reply's with your vote will have no bearing, and will not be counted.

Designs that clearly have a lot of interest will move to the second round, we anticipate that may be 4-8 designs, but it will depend on the voting

We also have a few ideas of changes in round 2, to ensure the people that are buying the rounds will have more influence over the winning design, so make sure your favorite advances to round 2.

Also keep in mind, the current obverse or heads side, with the steem logo and standard coin markings will remain the same

So the design currently being voting on will be used for the other side of the round. Please bear this is mind and we don't want to repeat elements or have it redundant, but also minor adjustments can certainly be made to the design at a later stage.

Thanks.. i had gotten a .999 24k plated one a while back.. from a company called cyptocurrenciesyouhold i dont know if it was legit for them to mint / sell them but its more or less a commemorative thing..

There's is much different that ours from what I saw, and I don't believe they are fine silver, otherwise as long as they use the steem logo, I'm pretty sure anyone can make anything with it for sale.

It was gold plated not silver. Yes it is steem logo..
