Clippers win in Leonard's Toronto return, Bucks stretch streak
Kawhi Leonard enjoyed a successful return to Toronto on Wednesday, while the Milwaukee Bucks' run continued and James Harden starred in the NBA.
Back in Toronto, where he won the NBA championship last season, Leonard helped the Los Angeles Clippers past the Raptors 112-92.
The star received a tribute video and finished with 23 points, six assists and five rebounds as the Clippers improved to 19-7.
Top of the Eastern Conference, the Bucks clinched a 16th straight win by beating the New Orleans Pelicans 127-112.
NBA wins keep Heat, Sixers perfect at home
Miami's Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo both posted triple-doubles as the Heat rallied late and dominated overtime to beat the Atlanta Hawks 135-121 on Tuesday and remain unbeaten at home this NBA season.
Adebayo scored a career-high 30 points with 11 rebounds and 11 assists for his first career triple-double -- producing double figures in three key statistical categories.
Butler scored 20 points with a career-high 18 rebounds and 10 assists for the Heat, who improved to 11-0 at AmericanAirlines Arena.
After surrendering an early lead Miami trailed 117-111 with less than a minute remaining in regulation.
MLB: Marijuana removed from banned list after policy revision
Marijuana is to be taken off Major League Baseball's banned substances list, the governing body has announced.
The policy, which comes into effect in 2020, says players found to have taken natural cannabinoids will be treated the same as alcohol-related issues.
All samples will now also be tested for opioids, fentanyl, cocaine and synthetic THC.
Players who test positive for these substances will be referred for treatment before possible discipline.
"The USA opioid epidemic is a concern," MLB deputy chief Dan Halem said.
"It is our hope that this agreement - which is based on principles of prevention, treatment, awareness and education - will help protect the health and safety of our players.
UFC 245: Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington trade barbs before fight in Las Vegas
UFC 245 - its final pay-per-view show of 2019 - boasts three title fights, including a main event in which one of the sport's most heated rivalries comes to a head inside the octagon.
Welterweight champion Kamaru Usman, 32, and former interim champion Colby Covington have been on a collision course since Usman defeated Tyron Woodley to capture the 170lb title in March.
Covington, 31, has been making headlines with his controversial 'trash talk' in the build-up to Saturday's fight in Las Vegas.
Usman's manager Glenn Robinson died after a suspected heart attack in September 2018, and Covington has said Robinson will be "watching from hell" this weekend.
