F1 - Rosberg retires as a champ

Hi, Steemers!

Can Rosberg fight for a title one more time? It seems not. Maybe it's too much mentally for him. He won a title with Hamilton's problems. Without that he probably wouldn't. Now he's retired. He retired as a champ. So what?! He will always be remembered as 2016 F1 champ. It doesn't matter how he won it.

Now it's the question who will replace him? Hamilton and Rosberg were  team mates for four seasons. The replacement must be mentally very tough, to be on Rosberg's level at least. Button took sabatical next season. Maybe he could be the replacement if McLaren releases him from the contract. Mercedes boss Toto Wolff said the team will take time in replacing the world champion, and Hamilton said he doesn't care who will drive for team next season.

It would have to be someone who would work well in the team. They need someone consistent because of the  constructor's championship. Ricciardo and Verstappen are very very consistent for Red Bull and it will be hard for constructors' titles, which is the team's goal.

                     Verstappen

Formula 1 team bosses have voted Lewis Hamilton the winner in annual. All 11 F1 teams' bosses have been asked to rank their top 10 drivers, based on on-track performances over this year's 21 races. Hamilton finished 51 points in front of runner-up M. Verstappen, who won on his debut with Red Bull at Barcelona and  really impressed with his drives. Rosberg was ranked only third with Ricciardo fourth ahead of Vettel and Alonso.

Show must go on!

Cheers!
