Cleveland Cavaliers

##Team1 Logo

The Cavs are coming off a close loss to the Bucks who are now 8-8. This has been an excellent season so far for Cleveland. The Clippers provide a true challenge for Lebron James and the Cavs. If Lebron is dominant tonight - the Cavs will win - otherwise look for a very close game.

##Standings

##Team 1 Lineup

So Far This Season:

The Cav's have been playing as well as you would expect from NBA Champs. They have received balanced play from their team on all sides of the court. All signs point for post-season dominance again this year. With a current record of 13-3, the Cavs are in first place ahead of the Raptors. The Clippers have been the best team in both the Western Conference and NBA at times in this early season. The Cavs have dominated the Eastern Conference all season. This match-up is the best of the east coast verses the best of the west coast.

The Cleveland Cavaliers, also known as the Cavs, are an American professional basketball team based in Cleveland, Ohio. The Cavs compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Central Division. The team began play in 1970. Since 1994, the team has played its home games at Quicken Loans Arena, which is shared with the Cleveland Gladiators of the Arena Football League and the Cleveland Monsters of the American Hockey League.
The Cavaliers have featured many NBA legends during their history, including LeBron James, Brad Daugherty, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, and Mark Price. Past NBA greats such as Nate Thurmond, Lenny Wilkens, Walt Frazier, and Shaquille O'Neal have also played in Cleveland, albeit near the end of their careers.
The franchise has won five Central Division championships (1976, 2009, 2010, 2015, and 2016), three Eastern Conference Championships (2007, 2015, 2016), one NBA championship (2016), and have reached the playoffs 20 times in their 46-year history. The Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the Golden State Warriors in NBA Finals Game 7 on June 19, 2016 after coming back from a 3–1 deficit, making them the first team in NBA history to accomplish that feat. However, the team has also had a number of dubious distinctions, such as former owner Ted Stepien's tenure, which led the NBA to create a rule regulating the trading of draft picks, known as the "Stepien rule", and a 26-game losing streak in 2010–11, which, at the time, tied the record for the longest losing streak in major American professional sports.

Los Angeles Clippers

##Team2 Logo

Los Angeles lost a tough one last night to a "not so good" Brooklyn Nets team. They have been near flawless all season in a division where they are trading spots with Golden State and San Antonio. The Clippers are human - but make no mistake - they will be a force to be reckoned with come playoff time. The Cav's better bring their "A Game" because this Clippers team does not make many mistakes.

##Standings

Team2 Lineup>

So Far This Season:

Blake Griffin and co. are an amazing 14-5 to start the season. Tonight match up will make for a very interesting ball game - both teams want this win.

The Los Angeles Clippers, often abbreviated as the LA Clippers, are an American professional basketball team based in Los Angeles. The Clippers compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member club of the league's Western Conference Pacific Division. The Clippers play their home games at Staples Center in downtown Los Angeles, an arena shared with the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA, the Los Angeles Sparks of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), and the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL).
The franchise was founded in 1970 as the Buffalo Braves, one of three expansion teams to join the NBA that year. The Braves moved from Buffalo, New York to San Diego in 1978 and became known as the San Diego Clippers. In 1984, the Clippers moved to Los Angeles. Through much of its history, the franchise failed to see significant regular season or playoff success. The Clippers were frequently seen as an example of a perennial loser in American professional sports, drawing unfavorable comparisons to the historically successful Lakers, with whom they have shared a market since 1984 and an arena since 1999.
The Clippers' fortunes turned in the early 2010s with the acquisition of core players Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and Chris Paul. In 2013, the franchise won its first division title, as the team made the playoffs for the ninth time in franchise history and the third time in the previous eight seasons. They also added to their budding rivalry with the Lakers, as they finished with a better record than the Lakers for the fifth time and won the season series for the second time since moving to Los Angeles in 1984, this time in a sweep. They repeated as division champions in 2014.

Support SteemSports Ultimate Vote Betting … together we all can win!

How to Play

  • Vote on the main post to enter the bet (main post rewards will also be added to the Stake Pool).

  • Cast your Vote Bet on ONLY ONE outcome for which you bet on for the win (Multiple comment votes will be automatically disqualified by the script, unvote and revote counts as multiple votes and will be disqualified).

  • After 24 hours, the post and related game comments payout to the pool; remember 25% voters rewards are deducted from the total post payout value first as per Steem curation rules. Voters are rewarded in standard fashion in proportion to their Steem Power holdings.

The Stake Pool:

  • The remaining 75% of the total payout is paid out in 50% Steem Power and 50% in liquid currencies, the latter now varies in payout ratio after the new fork. To make the process less complicated, we have decided to use all paid out SBD to buy Steem in the internal market to create a grand total Steem Stake Pool.

  • 30% of the Stake Pool will be retained, of which 15% will go to the writer/sports presenter of the post, and the 15% balance towards editing, development and advertising.

  • 70% of the Stake Pool will be held until the event/game outcome is determined.

  • Once the winning outcome is determined, we will execute a proprietary developed script that will divide and pay out the Steem rewards equally, using the Power Up method, to Mass Distribute SP to all participants that voted on the main post as the entrance fee as well as voted on the correct comment representing the winning outcome.

  • Only participants with a Reputation of 35 or more will qualify to earn SP rewards, but non-qualifiers can still vote and comment in support of the redistribution initiative.

  • Vote Percentage Requirements : Players with less than 100 000 Steem Power (SP) are required to vote main post with at least 50% and players with more than 100 000 SP are required to vote main with at least 10%.

  • Comments may then be voted with any percentage, but we do encourage all players to vote main and comment with as much power as possible to help distribute SP and create employment for writers and editors.

  • Entry cut-off time is the earlier of the post payout or the start of the event.

  • In the event of a draw/tie and such vote option was omitted by @steemsports for any reason, the game will result in all players being paid out regardless of which draw/tied outcome voted.

  • @steemsports in the unlikely event that when the Stake Pool is divided up between the winners and the nomenclature resolution goes below the third decimal place (example: 0.0001), then Steem decimal restrictions won’t allow a payout and the pool will carry over to the next game.
  • Please vote responsibly :).
