Now that this nugget "If they can secure a guy like Arrieta/Lynn to go with Nola at the top of the rotation, and either Eickhoff or Velasquez take the next step, I could see it happening" has come to fruition with the Arrieta signing, I like the Phillies' chances considerably more as an upstart team that could surprise.
