Well, apart from the question of who is the better player, Lebron can not be GOAT because of Jordan's existence.
Michael Jordan is the only player who does not lose in any way compared to LeBron. He won 6ring (3 for LeBron), 5 MVP(4 for LeBron), 1 DPOY (0 for LeBron with lot of controversy), better scorer, even better in stat PER.
LeBron could seems better compare to others. He won more first-option championship than Kareem and Duncan, won more MVP and Ring than Wilt and Bird, won with underdog team compare to Magic and the great Bill Russell.(It does not mean that LeBron is better than them. It is only about Lebron has some comparative advantage in some kind of part)
But, Jordan? He has the upgraded career compare to LeBron. Bill Russell could be GOAT compare to Jordan(because of the rings), Wilt could be better than Jordan on the basis of personal records, but NOT LeBron.
