January Transfer window; records set to get broken as Liverpool start spending

The January transfer window opens officially in a week's time. It's usually an opportunity for clubs to boaster their titles push or try to avoid relegation by bringing in fresh legs..
Last January which happens to be that of 2017 saw the record of money spent broken particularly in English football with about £215m spent on purchases.
That record is most probably going to be broken by the time the January 2018 transfer window closes as Liverpool fc have reported stomped up £75m pounds to buy central defender Virgil Van Dijk.
