It all goes down tonight in San Antonio when the Villanova Wildcats and the Michigan Wolverines face off in the 2018 NCAA National Championship Game! The game tips off at 8:20pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on TBS. It will take place at the Alamodome in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Villanova is favored by 7 points and the over/under is 144.5 points.

The Villanova Wildcats enter tonight’s game off of an incredible performance on Saturday night against the Kansas Jayhawks. They hit 18 of 40 from the 3 point line and 9 different players hit a shot from beyond the arc. It was one of the most well balanced beat downs in Final 4 history. Head coach Jay Wright is feeling great about his chances to win his 2nd championship in the last 3 years. College Basketball Player of the Year, point guard Jalen Brunson, will be ready to lead his team and push the tempo.

The Michigan Wolverines come into tonight’s game after crushing the hopes of Cinderella. They beat the Loyola Chicago Ramblers by double digits on Saturday. Mo Wagner was by far the best player on the court and had 24 points with 15 rebounds. But Michigan will need much more help if they are going to try and keep pace with the number one offense in the country tonight.

This game is going to be a battle of wills. Villanova likes to play fast and let the ball rip from the 3 point line in transition. Michigan will want to muck up the game and play a slow half court game. Villanova has much more fire power on their roster than Michigan so it will be imperative that someone gets hot from the 3 point line for the Wolverines. Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman could be that key player but he must be aggressive and improve on his 0-5 from deep that he had last game.

I like the Villanova Wildcats chances to be cutting down the nets at the end of the night.
