Breaking: Lebron James and Dwyane Wade Reunite!

The Bromance of Lebron James and Dwyane Wade is back as they reunite in Cleveland. The 12-time All-Star negotiated a buyout of his remaining contract with the Chicago Bulls over the weekend. Wade is now finalizing a deal to sign with the Cavs for one year. The deal is expected to be done by tomorrow.

James and Wade played together in Miami for 3 years and brought 2 Championships to the city in South Beach. But in an unexpected move, James “broke up” with Wade to get back with his high school girlfriend, the Cleveland Cavs. The two players remained extremely close and have been seen working out all summer together.
What does this mean for the Cavs? They are adding an aging and often injured former super star in Wade. He is a far cry from the explosive offensive weapon from 5 years ago, but still has some life in those legs. Wade will most likely come off of the bench and try and dominate the opponents second string. If he can give the Cavs 20 quality minutes per game, it could be an enormous help.

Wade scored 18 points a game last year for the Chicago Bulls. He doesn't need to match that output for this to be a success. Getting on average 6 points per half will lift a top heavy bench. His ability to get to the free throw line will also be a big benefit. And if point guards Isiah Thomas and Derrick Rose suffer from the injury bug (Thomas already out till January) then Wade is a great insurance policy.
With this move, is Lebron out of excuses if he can't bring home another title? He pushed Kyrie Irving out of town for Thomas, landed former NBA MVP, Derrick Rose, and now has his bestie back. Let us know what you think. Thank you for following @steemsports and you can catch me @scottybuckets Cheers!

Udonis Haslem of the Heat told his coach, Erik Spoelstra, that he has six fouls to give when the Heat play the Cavs next. Haha.

They key to all of this is also the fact that D.Wade is eligible to sign for a 1 year veterans minimum of 2.3 million.

With Dan Gilbert not having to empty his wallet for another deal this makes more sense than going for another possible option later in the transfer window.

As a Lebron fan all I can do is hope that this team can work out a suitable pace to play, where they feel that they can match it with Steph and KD later in the season without getting burnt out.

Kyrie was athletic and it concerns me about Rose and him trying to crash a brick wall in the paint like he used to.

Only time will tell... Thanks for a great article @scottybuckets

Wade My Favorite Player

i like this sport :) nice post

Nice signing. Even though Wade is past his prime, he should be excellent contributing 20-25 quality minutes a game. Cavaliers should be interesting this year.

Man it will be interesting to see how everything turns out. I can't believe they signed Rose and Wade. Both being let go by Chicago due to, as you you pointed out, them being so injury prone and missing so many games. Chicago may be rebuilding, but they are probably the biggest contributors to Chicago getting to that point.

DWade is still a great player. He just needs fewer minutes is all. Good pickup for the Cavs but I doubt it'll be enough. go Dubs!

I'm excited to see this combination of IT, D-Rose, and these two! Hopefully they can make the Finals again.
