The Cleveland Cavaliers beat the Chicago Bulls 114-109 on Saturday night. James seized his 15th triple-double of the season recording 33 points, 12 rebounds, and 12 assists. Jeff Green added 21 points and 4 rebounds. Jordan Clarkson finished with 19 points including a tie-breaking four-point play to seal the game with 1 and a half minute remaining. George Hill only had 8 points and 6 rebounds. Ante Zizic had a great game scoring 14 points and grabbing 6 rebounds. We always knew that LeBron would assist in building his teammates, and Ante Zizic is proof of that noble action.

Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Larry Nance Jr., Rodney Hood and Cedi Osman are all still out due to injuries. There is no specific date set for Kevin Love’s return. Also, the 37 year old Kyle Korver missed the game while dealing with a family matter on his birthday. Korver left the team Friday to deal with his family issue. Korver has been playing great basketball in his last three games averaging more than 17 points and shooting greater than 65 percent from the field, replacing JR Smith in the starting line-up because of his poor play. Another issue was brought to the surface when Cavaliers Coach Tyronn Lue left the game and spent the second half in the locker room; precisely, the Cavaliers were severely shorthanded.

Chicago wiped out a 17-point half time deficit led by Denzel Valentine’s career-high 34 points while he also snatched seven rebounds and six assists. Bobby Portis added 15 points and 15 rebounds. Cameron Payne chalked up 13 points and 10 assists. Cristiano Felicio finished with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Chicago's key players including Lauri Markkanen, Zach Lavine and Kris Dunn all sat out due to injuries. Obviously, Chicago's in rebuilding mode right now and occupy the bottom of the standings, hoping to notch a high draft pick this off-season. They are even resting healthy players for no reason.

Cleveland led 69-52 through half time, but Chicago cut the deficit heading into the fourth period and brought it back up to 11. Chicago tied it at 99 with Valentine’s 3-pointer as four minutes remained. James then followed the three with two jumpers and fed an alley-oop to Jeff Green as the Cavaliers established a 105-99 lead with just over three minutes left to play. The Bulls tied it once again on 3-pointers by Cameron Payne and Paul Zipser. Soon after, Clarkson completed a four point play and Lebron’s pull-up jumper held Chicago to 105 points with 39 seconds left in the game. Cleveland will host the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday and Chicago will visit New York on Monday night.
