The final duel of men's 2017 US Open tournament between Rafael Nadal (Spain) and Kevin Anderson (South Africa) will take place Sunday night local time.

For Nadal, the US Open would be his 16th Grand Slam title if he wins . Meanwhile Anderson, will be playing his first Grand Slam final.

Anderson is no stranger to Nadal. The two have met four times in the court before this outing. They have also known each other since childhood.

"I'm happy for him, I've known Anderson since we were 12 years old," Nadal told BBC News. "Of course it feels great to see him in the final game of one of important tournaments this year," said the 31-year-old man.

Anderson's got an uphill battle, even though I think he may be able to steal a set with his serve. I believe that Nadal will take it in 4.

Well at this point in the match Nadal is steamrolling Anderson. Up 2 sets and a break in the 3rd as I post this.
