Luis Suarez was back to his best as his double helped Barcelona win at Anoeta, Real Sociedad's home ground for the first time since 2007.
Suarez struggled earlier this season but has now scored 11 goals in his last 11 games. He helped start off Barcelona’s comeback when he squared the ball to Paulinho to make the game 2-1. He added two goals, one a replica of a famous Samuel Eto'O goal before Messi scored a late free kick to secure the 3 points.
Barcelona have always struggled to win at Anoeta. Even Pep Guardiola’s all winning side were unable to win. Barcelona got a win last season in the Copa del Rey through a solitary Neymar goal but still hadn't won a league game. Earlier in the day, Manchester City lost away to Liverpool making Barcelona the only team in Europe's top 5 leagues yet to lose a game.
Sociedad took the lead in the 8th minute as Willian Jose nodded in from a Xabi Prieto cross. He scored again in the 28th minute but the referee spotted a foul in the build up to the goal and it didn't count. 7 minutes later Sociedad had their 2nd as Juanmi's shot deflected off Jodi Alba.

Barcelona hadn't won at Sociedad in the league since 2007 and had never come back from 2-0 against Sociedad since the 1929-30 season so they needed to respond fast if they wanted anything from the game. Paulinho timed his run perfectly and was in front of goal to tap in from a Luis Suarez low cross in the 39th minute with keeper Gero Rulli getting a touch.

Suarez added a 2nd with a delicious chip from the left channel from a Messi pass. He added his 2nd and Barcelona’s 3rd of the night when Vermaleen nodded on to him. Leo Messi added a 4th in the 84th minute as a chipped in a peach of a free kick from way out leaving the keeper rooted to the spot.

The win sees Barcelona continue their unbeaten run. They are now the only side in Europe's top 5 leagues yet to taste defeat this season.

Luis Suarez is having a prolific season , he was criticized a while ago when the goals seemed to dry up but he has once again proved the critics wrong and he is back among the goals.

Barcelona have got to start thinking of replacing Luis Suarez, he only has just a few years of top quality football left in him and Barcelona have got to find someone in the same mould to continue winning.

I watched that game. I was annoyed when they were losing 2-0. Suarez was the king of that game with his 2 goals and that nice curved goal. But messi with that free kick... omg the keeper didnt even move. Barca are now 19 points above real LOL ✌

Messi, Suarez and Paulinho are amazing. Spanish LaLiga champions

Wow,great game from Luis Suarez and Barcelona as a whole, finally the jinx for seven years has been broken, great game.
