The Houston Rockets traveled to Cleveland to take on the Cavaliers at Quicken Loans Arena on Saturday night. The two teams are trending in opposite directions. Houston is in the midst of a three-game win streak while Cleveland has continued to struggle to find their way on the defensive end, allowing 100+ points to their opponents in seven of their last eight games.

Cleveland’s defensive struggles continued into Saturday night’s game, allowing the Rockets to score 32 points in the fist quarter, taking a early twelve point lead. Houston continued to build their lead in the second quarter, scoring 33 points in the frame, taking a 26-point lead into the locker room.
The Rockets looked to close out the game early in the third quarter, sprouting an additional 9-1 run, capped by a Chris Paul floater in the lane. holding a 35-point lead at 85-50.

With no fight left in the Cavs, the fourth quarter was filled by meaningless scoring from both teams’ reserves. The Rockets finished their domination of the Cavs 120-88 victory, leavings Cavs fans completely distraught.
The Rockets balanced scoring attack was led by Chris Paul’s falling two rebounds shy of a triple-double (22p, 8r, 11a) which included 6 three-pointers. Ryan Anderson added 21 points aided by his five three- pointers. The Cavs also struggled on offense finishing with no one scoring over 12 points in the loss.
