Virgil Van Dijk has handed in a transfer request



The in demand center back has signaled his intention to leave Southampton. The 26-year-old Dutchman joined Southampton from Celtic in 2015 and was EFL cup runner up in 2017 losing 3-2 to Manchester United. Liverpool is interested in signing him. Chelsea and Manchester City are also possible destinations.

Manchester City has made a bid for FC Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets



The 29-year-old defensive midfielder was given his first professional appearance by now Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola. Guardiola also made a move for Busquets last season and had his offer rebuffed by Barcelona.

Manchester United defender Timothy Fosu-Mensah to join Crystal Palace on a season long loan deal



Fosu-Mensah links up with Coach Frank De Boer who he played under at Ajax before joining United in 2014. The 19-year-old made 19 appearances for United and won the FA Cup in 2016 and the 2016-17 Europa League.

Barcelona is interested in Nice’s Jean Michael Seri



The Ivorian midfielder will cost around 40 million euros. Barcelona coach Ernesto Valverde is said to be a fan of the player, and Seri himself has said it’s his dream to play for Barcelona. Seri scored 7 goals and made 9 assists in 34 league appearances last season.

Barcelona has agreed on personal terms with Dortmund’s Ousmane Dembele



The winger, who is regarded as one of the best young talents in the world will cost Barcelona upwards of 100 million euros. Dortmund is rumored to be open to selling, but Barcelona is planning on offering 70 million. Dembele joined Dortmund from Rennes in 2016, and his contract with them expires in 2021. He scored 10 goals and made 18 assists in all competitions. He scored the winning goal and was voted man of the match in the DFB Pokal final. He also made the Bundesliga Team of the season.

Gareth Bale is rumored to be on his way out of Real Madrid



The Welsh winger joined Madrid in 2013 for a then record 100 million euro fee. He has won 3 Champions league titles with the Spanish side scoring 67 times in 150 appearances. Real Madrid is looking to offload him to make way for French talent Kylian Mbappe. Manchester United and Chelsea are his likely destinations.

Wesley Sneijder has joined Nice on a free transfer



The 33-year-old spent 5 years at Galatasaray, scoring 45 goals in 174 appearances. He has also played for Ajax, Real Madrid and Inter Milan with whom he won the Champions league in 2010. He got to the final of the 2010 World Cup with Netherland losing in extra time to Spain.

Monaco has signed winger Rachid Ghezzal on a free transfer from Lyon



The 25-year-old Algerian joins after spending 5 years at Lyon where he made 119 appearances and scored 13 goals. He was also linked with Zenit St. Petersburg, Celta Vigo and Nice but has now joined the French Champions on a 4-year deal.

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson to Leeds



Manchester United youngster Cameron Borthwick-Jackson has joined Championship side Leeds on a season long loan. The 20-year-old full back made 14 appearances for United all in the 2015-16 season. He spent the first half of the 2016-17 season on loan at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Gaston Ramirez to Sampdoria: the Uruguayan attacking midfielder joins the Italian club from Middlesbrough



Ramirez joined Middlesbrough from Southampton in the winter window of 2016 and scored 9 goals in 44 appearances for the club. He joins Sampdoria for a 9.85 million euro fee.

what's the source on Ousmane Dembele ? I though Barcelona agreed a fee for Coutinho, hence Ousmane would be out of contention for a place in the blaugrana..

also can't believe how many good players were available for free this year, really good grabs from Monaco and Nice. I've seen that Belhanda went the other way round to Sneijder, pretty intersting if you ask me

Manchester United need to get one more BIG name signing. Someone who will get everyone talking and put pressure on clubs. Bale might be that signing

And let's just ignore the rumor that Zlatan wants another go at Man United, albeit probably not this calendar year, rather than ride off into obscurity in the MLS. Of course, he's well past his sell-by date, right...? ;)
