The #1 Kansas Jayhawks are back in action tonight against the #5 Clemson Tigers in Sweet 16 action in the 2018 NCAA Tournament. The game tips off at 6:07pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on CBS. It will take place at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Kansas is favored by 5 points and the over/under is 142.5 points.

Kansas is coming off of a tough 83-79 win over the Seton Hall Pirates on Saturday. It was a hard fought win that went all the way down to the wire. Malik Newman was sensational with 28 points including 4-8 from the 3 point line. But the Jayhawks leading scorer on the season, Devonte Graham, was ice cold. He only shot 1-7 from the field and was 0-4 from the 3 point line. If he plays like this tonight, it will be bad news for head coach Bill Self and his ball club.

Clemson on the other hand absolutely destroyed the Auburn Tigers. The 84-53 beat down was one of the biggest in the 2018 NCAA Tournament so far. Gabe Devoe led the way with 22 points including 6-9 from deep. The enormous lead would give Clemson a chance to not only win in a stress free manner, but they were able to rest their starters in the second half. Clemson should be feeling very fresh as they enter tonight’s action.

I think that the Kansas Jayhawks are in serious trouble tonight. I am calling for the outright upset by the Clemson Tigers!
