The #4 Xavier Musketeers have a difficult road test tonight when they play at the Georgetown Hoyas. The game tips off at 5:30pm Central Standard Time and can be seen on National Television on ESPN Full Court. The game takes place at the Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. Xavier is favored by 6 points and the over/under is 161.
These two teams met earlier this year on February 3rd. Xavier won at home in an incredibly exciting and high scoring game 96-91. It took 5 minutes of overtime to settle the score. Trevon Bluiett was the hero that day with 31 points for Xavier. Tyrique Jones had 15 big points off of the bench.

Georgetown was led by Jessie Govan who had 23 points on 10-16 shooting from the field. They also got big games out of Jamorko Pickett with 21 points and Jahvon Blair who nailed five shots from beyond the 3 point line.

Tonight’s game will have long lasting ramifications for both teams. Xavier is coming off of a rare loss. They fell to the 3rd ranked Villanova Wildcats on Saturday and are trying to stay in the hunt for a number 1 seed. Georgetown needs a win to bolster their NCAA Tournament resume. They have won two in a row including a big road win at Butler last week.

Big one tonight in the Big East. Georgetown definitely is playing better as of late. They are most likely going to have to win out to have a chance of getting in. 15-10 with an RPI of 124 and horrible schedule strength (160) has them a long way away from the bubble. However, a win tonight as you pointed out will get them significantly closer. A loss tonight and the Hoyas only way into the Tournament will be winning the Big East Tourny. Good post.
