Good work on bringing this to the surface. There may certainly be a reasonable explanation but clarification is definetly needed!

Downvoting a post can decrease pending rewards and make it less visible. Common reasons:

  • Disagreement on rewards
  • Fraud or plagiarism
  • Hate speech or trolling
  • Miscategorized content or spam

    Thank you @tfeldman . Don't think there is any wrongdoing yet, but it certainly doesn't look like the best attitude to keep opening new bets if there is such a problem with the voting script that forces @steemsports to move funds out of the account instead of paying the winning bets.
