The Marlin's Make Me A Winner - Three Out Of Four Picks So Far - Today's Pick

Well, the Marlins came through for me by routing the Phillies 10-2. Justin Bour had 2 home runs and Dan Straily , (4-3, 3.56 ERA, got the win for the NL East laggards , that are woefully in last place at with a 21-30 record. Despite this, the Marlins are riding a nice four game winning streak and may make their move now on the division leading Washington Nationals.

This might have been a great game to combine with my previous Orioles bet, as they were able to beat the Yankees for a series win 2 to 1. They'll be heading into a two game set with their heated rival's the Red Sox. We'll be looking for any fireworks that erupt along the way.

For today's pick, I'm going to duck back into the safe confines of the over/under market and focus once again on the National League with the Dodgers vs the Cardinals. The Dodgers are sending Brandon McCarthy, (5-1, 3.28 ERA) to the mound, with the Card's going with Adam Wainwright, 5-3, 4.20 ERA). This will probably turn into a good piching duel and have little runs scored on a day game in St. Louis,
