Pot belly here is sometimes seen as "evidence of good living". This is an interesting topic as I've seen quite a lot of pot belied gentlemen around.

Sorry for coming late with this reply. True, pot belly is seen as a sign of healthy living in some areas of the world, but I don't think the implications are worth the risks, and most people don't actually know these implications, that's one of my main reasons to writing this post.
