Greetings to everyone on this platform. I am particularly delighted to introduce myself to the esteemed steem community. My name is Akinyemi Damilare, I am from the southwestern part of Nigeria, Akure, Ondo state to be precise. I have interest in the study of plants and their relationship with the environment, generally known as plant ecology. My past work has been on the restoration of degraded forest, an aspect of ecology known as restoration ecology. Presently, I am working on the impact of climate change on ecosystem structure and function of grassland ecosystem, a topical study in ecology.

My hobbies include travelling, collection of new plant species and exploring new environments. I also love to play scrabble and watch football games. I hope to learn from you guys on this platform. Permit me to once again say its great to be here. My subsequent write-ups will generally be about my sojourn in the world of ecology both in the lab and in the outside world.
