I think this diagram is wrong... Just look at the direction of those vector arrows.

    Hey, the picture was modeled when I was just trying to show that the forces could be resulted into a single without any consideration for the magnitude. But I see how the length can mislead to intuitively believing the resultant should have been somewhere else.
