A nice post, I sometimes go "treasure hunting" with a metal detector but would love to take that to the sea, or to be more specific I would like to find out what s around the city of Zadar.
Because every few months they find something. :)

HEHEH watch out with metal-detecting the fines are high. Split and the surroundings are the richest in Dalmatia you just need to know where to look. They find stuff in Zadar because there are looking, sometimes there is some shady business involved ;)
