You are right up my alley. I, too, have watched and studied the exact areas you are referring to. The last few years I spent on reddit in the technology and futurology threads. So much going on in the tech world that people have no clue what is on its way.

I made the statement that in 10 years we are going to laugh at the debate we had over medical costs. While each of the technologies is expensive to develop and initially implement, over time, they all will be deflationary. The cost of healthcare soon will be under the laws of informational technology which means the prices will plummet from year to year.

I couldn't agree more. We are on the cusp of a cultural change so profound, every aspect of our society will need to be reevaluated. If people are only vaguely aware of what's coming, we will have a better chance of navigating these waters properly.
