Good morning friends, Since I found the topic about The Organism very interesting, I started to investigate, inquire and read a little more about the topic and it seemed a good idea to share it with you.
Integumentary System
This system forms the outer covering of the body and is made up of skin, hair and nails. The skin is a waterproof barrier that prevents the body from getting dehydrated and helps regulate its temperature. It also protects it from UV rays and harmful microorganisms.
Muscular system
It is formed by 640 skeletal muscles that can contract and pull the bones through joints to move the body. The muscles are organized in layers that overlap in a complex way and adhere to the bones by means of resistant tendons.
Skeletal system
Vigorous and flexible structure of bones, cartilage and ligaments. It gives the body support and shape, allows it to move and surrounds and protects the internal organs (such as the brain), bones store minerals, such as calcium, and produce blood cells.
Circulatory system.
It is formed by the heart, a network of blood vessels and the blood that circulates through them. It brings food, oxygen and other essential elements to the cells and eliminates waste. It also helps maintain body temperature and fights infections.
Nervous system.
It is the main control system. The brain and spinal cord, which form the central nervous system (CNS), process and store the information they receive and send instructions to the nerves. These bring and carry signals between the CNS and the rest of the body.
Lymphatic and immune.
The lymphatic system drains excess fluid (lymph) from the tissues; it filters it to eliminate pathogenic microorganisms and waste, and returns it to the blood. The cells called lymphocytes, which protect the body from infections, form the immune system.
Respiratory system.
This device, formed by the respiratory tract and the lungs, provides the oxygen that all cells need to release energy. The breath introduces and removes aie from the lungs, where oxygen is not incorporated into the blood and carbon dioxide is expelled.
Urinary device.
The urinary system is formed by the kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra. The kidneys process the blood that passes through them, remove excess water from toxic substances, such as urea. All this is expelled from the body, in the form of urine, through the urethra.
Endocrine system.
controls several organic processes, such as growth, reproduction and metabolism. It is made up of glands that, in the bloodstream, secrete hormones, which are directed to specific tissues that are under control in order to modify their activity.
Reproductive system.
It makes possible the creation of a new being. Devices of both sexes differ, but both begin to function at puberty. The woman produces ovules; If one of these is fertilized by a male sperm, a baby will be born in the woman's uterus.
