#steemtalent - Update No.1
I am looking to double my Twitter Account and the #steemtalent profile in the next 12 months
Following on from the recent launch of the #steemtalent project and the change to my Twitter Profile, I am pleased to say that these last few days have totally taken me by surprise.
Since changing my Twitter Profile to #steemtalent, focusing in on reaching out, identifying and bringing talented New Users to the #Steemit Community, the results have been simply breathtaking.
These last few days I have spent a great deal of time talking to people about #Stemit and this new initiative and the feedback I have had has been unbelievable.
Commercial and Business Skills
As I proudly explain in the video, I strongly believe that the #Steemit Community is awash with some of the best technical talent around, supporting the development of this groundbreaking and cutting edge technological revolution that is the #Steem Blockchain.
Coming from a technical background, I feel that these guys should be left to do what they do best and that is to develop the infrastructure of the #Steemit Platform and the #Steem Ecosystem.
Having had over +30 years experience in Commercial, Finance, Technology, Investments and Business, I thought it would best if I concentrated and focused my attention by offering my Commercial and Business skills to the Community.
It's taken 12 months to decide
As explained earlier on in the week, it has taken me over 12 months to make the decision to change my Twitter Profile to concentrate and focus my attention on the promotion of #Steemit.
This decision was not easy to make, but these last few days have helped me concluded that it was absolutely the right thing to do.
1,000,000 target prediction by @andrarchy
As mentioned in the video, recently @ned and @andrarchy have made a couple of bold predictions.
Ned has predicted that over 100,000 entrepreneurs will come to the #Steem Blockchain in the next 5 years and Andrew has predicted that 1,000,000 new users will come to the platform within the next 6 months.
If #steemtalent does what I think it will do and is embraced by the Community, then I feel that these numbers may turn out to be light.

Based on a back of the envelope calc, Steem will acquire more than 1,000,000 new users in the next 6 months, as many as it acquired in its first 2 years of existence

You are really work tirelessly towards uplifting this platform, your reward is surely on the way, we really need to cooperate and work hand in hand to bring more people to steemit most especially those that can influence the community in one way or the other through their work, activities and positive contribution. You are someone I really emulate when it comes to promoting steemit, you have done more than enough and you are still doing it. Changing your twitter account as a great stakeholder on steemit will really boast more people to come on board, a lot of questions will surely be posted to you on why you actually changed your username in which all these answers will give majority of your followers reason to join steemit without asking more questions. I'm also doing that straight away, gonna add steemit or something related to it.

I am dead sure that your hard work, dedication, devotion and commitment to bring masses here in this amazing community will be successful. Why just 1 m and 1 lack? our Platform has more potential then these figures. as now steem maybe dependent on BTC, but the time will come steem will stand strong alone. you will see it, mark my words.

With the drowning prices day by day is very frightening! Who knows what is going to happen next. I think this low price may not have a good impact on new people who have just joined. Maybe they feel uncomfortable starting their work here.

This is even the best time for newbies to come in. When they get in a dip they appreciate growth better. Steem was worth less than this a year ago and will be worth more in a few weeks time. Don't allow the price charts derail you.

Another million until the end of the year would be huge growth. I am thrilled to see if that really ends up coming to pass.
I feel like some improvements have to happen for that to be realistically possible. Between registration times being very long and Steemit maybe needing some more customization and QoL changes, there is still a lot to do.
Luckily, we do have a lot of people who are much better at all these technical things than I am, so I am positive that we will have things figured out over the course of the year.

The boards at Steemit Inc are too focused on new projects that have not run so they do not pay more attention to Steemit. One million new users as predicted may be coming, but also probably not with the current conditions. Even some Steemit users have switched to other more prospective platforms (they think like that).
