If someone asks you about this question. Your answer would be like, it’s a board attached with two tires or sometimes with one. It’s a new mode of electric singular transportation in a confined area.
It’s a basic information that general populace has about hoverboard but you know, that different types of hoverboards are available at the market at different prices and hoverboards are not only being used in the confined spaces.

Do you know?
That first hoverboard was first described by the author M.K Joseph in 1967 and was popularized due to the film named "Back to the future".
Most people mix hoverboards with skateboards but they are totally different from them. Skating boards have small tires move due to gravitational force or by the force applied by its consumer but hoverboard are chargeable and move automatically due to a conversion of electric force into mechanical force.
An entrepreneur and inventor Robert Bigler started Hoverboard technologies.
Robert initiated hoverboard concept to facilitate the personal electric mobility. Another stunning information regarding hoverboard is that all the hoverboard technologies are wholly owned by Equalia.

Equal does all the design for hoverboards and this company consists of a small group of engineers. The hoverboard is the new trend of transportation nowadays initiated by the Equal company.
The hoverboard is being used by the airport security staff at gigantic airports of the world, the staff of the huge malls and students on the university campus.

This hoverboard is equipped with pressure pump which takes the water from the sea and releases it with pressure in the downward direction. This action helps hoverboard to lift. This technology is wildly in use by the young people at the shores of different seas. With all the merits hoverboards also have some demerits.
Hoverboards are not considered as safe to ride. World’s biggest online market Amazon announced to eradicate the all hoverboards item from its website due to a safety issue. In America, consumer product safety commission (CPSC) recently announced a new set of safety for hoverboards. CPSC also announced that all the hoverboards available in the market are not saving to use.
Moreover, some misconceptions are also coupled with hoverboards which I contemplate to mention here.
If you are going to purchase a hoverboard, then you should keep these things in mind.
That hoverboards are self-balancing electric scooter they are not for levitation. Hoverboards are not designed for children so, do not buy it for your children. The average speed of a hoverboard is 2 to 10 miles per hour. Hoverboard can move anywhere on the plain surface with the foregone mentioned speed but remember Government of different countries has imposed some restriction on the moment of hoverboard due to its safety issues, thus, checked the government rule and regulation before purchasing a hoverboard also before riding it outside your premises.

I've seen hoverboard on a comedy TV show. I've seen them in the streets.
I know that I knew what they were called until just now. Thanks for tell me it's a hoverboard. I really didn't know the name. :)
How much are these things? Of course I could look it up. But if I had to guess, they're $350 USD. How close am I?
What I like about hoverboards are the fact that it is something in 2017 that looks like it belongs in 2017.
I mean if I was cryogenically frozen in 1950 and woke up in 2017, a hoverboard is exactly the type of thing I'd expect to see.
There isn't much out there that is a true sign of the times, unless of course, you've took a trip in a Telsa vehicle -- now that's something cool too. :)

In the Netherlands we have a dutch manufacturer who makes the so called "Oxboard" Bought one for my daughter and find it a terrifying idea that she can go really fast but I generally think it is a marvelous design. And you are right I think it is rather designed for adults than children.
