Beliefs shape our perception, our perception causes emotions and, shape our reality.
Ie. Some people love the winter and the snow and it makes them happy
Some people hate it and it makes them depressed
How could winter make people feel anything? The event itself has no power. It all comes down to what we believe about the event.
Change your beliefs and you have the power to transform your life. Change your events and you stay exactly the same.

Nailed it. I'm always concerned with testing my own beliefs, to see if I really believe it or not. Why do I believe what I believe?
As far as other's beliefs, if they care, I invite people to understand why I believe what I believe, but that's not the same as trying to change someone else's beliefs. It saves many headaches. @ironshield
