Enough of Winter I want to be sitting on the beach at Sunset

Some days I am fine with winter and the cooler temperatures, layer up and feel its not to bad, but then on other days winter gets to me I want it to be done and move on so I can be back enjoying nice sunsets on the beach such as this day at Gulf Beach.

This particular shot was near the end of autumn and it was a little bit cooler and only a few hardy people were on the beach.

Gulf Beach is not as sandy as some of the other beaches here and with all the rocks and shells not an ideal beach to go barefoot in, but in the warmer months I will still slip off my shoes and walk a little bit barefoot on the less rocky and more sandy portions of the beach, ever since i was young i have always loved the feeling of walking on a sandy beach feeling the sand and water run between your toes is just so relaxing.

I have read some reports that particularly on a nice sandy Beach walking barefoot can be very healthy and give you healing and energizing effects, all I know is after even a short walk on the beach barefoot I do feel refreshed, that said I do feel refreshed walking in shoes or sandals but I do think I feel better after going barefoot.
