What is SteemVerify?
SteemVerify is a verification service that any Steemit community member can utilize anonymously and securely. Each badge is created and then embedded with a secret image using a steganography program thus ensuring your badge is yours alone.
Badges are only issued to verified human beings using a soft-verification model. Traditionally, new members were asked to take a selfie whilst holding a handwritten note that read "Steemit" with the current date. This helped create a trust leg between new users and the Steemit community.
There are some contributors who are not comfortable sharing a photo of themselves. Other alternatives to getting verified include using our website to direct us to your social media sites. If that is not an option, we ask, at the very least, that a verified Steemit member vouch for you thus keeping your anonymity intact.

Fill in the form with the information that is comfortable for you to fill, which includes picking the badge you would like. There is a small fee for the service: 3 SBD per traditional badge and 5 SBD for a customized one where you can use a photo or let us know if you have a specific design in mind.

Don't lose your password. In the event that you lose your badge or somehow lost access to your accounts, your password can be used to confirm that you are who you say you are.
Please keep in mind that we never ask for nor retain access to any of your accounts. Your badge has been sent :)
