My Steem Journey - Update 06

Hello everyone, it's time for an update again. And this will be the first time that I am updating on a Sunday, as I am currently setting a schedule on my postings for every day of the week. For this post, I am talking about my other photo that was recognized again, my rewards on Steem Monsters on the recently concluded season, my lotto contests, and my beefed-up UPFUNDME account.

In my last update, I mentioned how glad I am that my photo won as the winner for the Monday's edition of the 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge organized by @czechglobalhosts and I told myself that I will try to submit a photo of New Zealand every week to this contest. I like living in New Zealand, as it boasts itself with many natural and man-made attractions that you won't find anywhere else in the world. This is the reason why I enjoy taking photos of these places and showing them to the world. Going back to the contest, I submitted another photo again, a picture of Chateau Tongariro, the cover photo I used in this post. To my surprise, I won again this time. While I don't expect to win the 200 SBD, having been recognized the second time inspired me to take more photos and share them here at Steem.

Another season has ended for SteemMonsters and I got twelve rewards cards which I think is not too bad for just playing the game. The reward is lesser than the 15 cards that I had for the season before this one, because as I mentioned in my previous update, I had lesser time to play. Here are the cards that I won.


For those who follow me and regularly read my posts, especially with the STEEMJOURNEY series, you know that I run two series of lotto contests, one with Steem Basic Income (SBI) as prize and one with Steem Monsters cards as prize. However, with my lesser time playing Steem Monsters as I mentioned above, I decided to put a temporary stop to my Steem Monsters lotto contest. It is good however, to cap off that lotto contest as a user won the prize of 15 Steem Monsters cards during the last draw. Congratulations to @lordwinty for the win.

While I have a winner in my Steem Monster lotto contest, it is still the opposite for my SBI lotto contest. No one has one in the past four draws and the prize just kept on being rolled over. In the current contest, there is a total price of 15 SBI units to be won. If you want to participate, head on to my current lotto post and submit your entry.

I also mentioned last week that I bought 5,000 UFM tokens for the price of 100 STEEM. I was surprised to see my account increased 10% (up to 5,500) and this is because @upfundme gave me a bonus which I think is awesome. I began upvoting posts in the upfundme tribe I hope in the coming months my account value will also increase substantially.

I am striving to have this account as wholesome as possible and do not engage with NSFW and Dporn-related postings. You will see however, in my stats below, I included holdings for Dporn tokens. While I do not use that Dporn tribe, I always upvote posts and welcome new members using the introduceyourself tag, and these tokens where earned when I welcome new members who used that tag and the Dporn tag at the same time. Below are my stats and staked tokens. It is a slow week compared to the past weeks but I am still happy about the progress.
