Steemvoter Guild: "Nominate-a-Friend" for the Guild Vote (Saturday May 27)

Previous winning post - Creating 3D models - Episode #4 [Fox] by @royalmacro

Author @royalmacro has artistic skills that are in high demand in today's digital media age, and in this post he shows them off in style. He has created a 3D model of a fox using software called Poser Pro and is graciously offering it up for free download. We love the attention to detail that went into this creation, and the variety of poses it's capable of! Also it's fun to see how the final model gets textured using some flattened skin & eye images that are really quite creepy. Thanks for sharing your work with us @royalmacro!

Now on to today's nominations...

The "Nominate-a-Friend" Steemvoter (SV) Guild program.

So how does it work? Simple ... reply with a comment to this post with the link to another Steemian's post you think deserves the daily Steemvoter guild upvote, you are welcome to motivate in the reply why you think they deserve it.

The reply with the highest upvote $ value will be the winner and the post nominated in that reply will receive the guild upvote, which as you may have seen from previous posts, is a generous upvote from over 500 guild members, giving $100 dollars or more to the author depending on starting value.

Please make sure your nomination follows these guidelines:

Basic Guidelines

  • You cannot submit your own post or that of your other related accounts that you own or share ownership in, if you are found or reported to do this and substantially verified, your and your related accounts will be blacklisted from future guild vote eligibility.

  • No religious, NSFW, racist, trolling, fake news or inappropriate posts will be considered, in which case runner's up will be selected. @steemvoter has the final word as to which post is selected for the daily vote.

  • We will not vote the same author in a seven-day window.

  • Cut-off time: We will choose the highest value comment nomination within 48 hours of this post becoming active. Please only submit posts that are still within their 7 day voting window, and allow enough time for the guild vote to be done before their payout window closes.

  • This is not about curation rewards for the guild members and getting in early on the vote etc, it is purely to reward the deserving author.

  • @steemvoter will consider this a free market experiment and we will facilitate the voting of the post that the community wants voted, without checking for PLG of content, photos and artwork. At our discretion, blatantly inappropriate posts will not be voted on however.

  • This is a beta guild project and terms are subject to change at any time.

Let's make Steem great ... together!!

I would like to nominate @sidwrites for his post which is laced with personal instances and very ably articulates the need to say 'No' and the importance of distancing oneself from Negative People. A candid and engaging account, it's a moving read that helps us learn a vital life lesson.

Nominating: @elishagautam

This is my first ever usage of steemvoter and I am nominating a fairly long time Steemit user with good content but fairly less exposure and rewards, to help the author get discovered and acknowledged on this platform.

Do check out the work and leave a feedback if you like the article :)

@deepapoudel Hey! Thanks a lot. :D
It's great to see you too. We are quite lucky to have joined this platform this early. I hope the number of Nepali people increases in upcoming days. How were you introduced to steemit by the way?

@isteemit Thank you very much for nominating me. :)

I'd like to nominate @clevercreator for her post titled When in Pain, Pay Attention to your Body.

It gives her long history of dealing with various issues that have caused her physical pain as well as how she's dealt with them. Even though she's only been here for a couple of weeks, her positivity and love for our community shines through in high quality posts and the chatroom.

I support this nomination :)
and I will let @deepapoudel know so that she can also vote this nomination,
keep up the good work!!

Your post was mentioned in my hit parade in the following categories:

  • Upvotes - Ranked 1 with 1084 upvotes
  • Pending payout - Ranked 8 with $ 562,04

I'd like to nominate my brother @rickyjrx post. He is currently writing about his entire life, it's a good read that he puts alot of effort into and because of the amount of traffic and posts on steemit isn't getting the recognition it deserves. He joined steemit a month ago and could do with a boost.

Today, I would like to nominate @deepapoudel again for her 100 followers celebration and her 2 months steemit experience. This post has inspiring words, and she also discusses a bit of herself, her journey on steemit, and also expresses her gratitude of thankfulness.
Here's the post,

@thecryptodrive or @marcgodard
Hi guys. Thanks for the nice service you provide. I'm sorry to bug you here, but I am still new and I don't really understand how things work. I'm not even sure where to go look at.

I set up some rules and it appears to be working fine but I'm not sure if I even got any reward from curation so far. please help anyone?

How should I set this thing up or did anyone already write about these things?

thanks.

From your wallet page, select Rewards -> Curation rewards to see a history of your curation rewards. Remember that rewards are paid out when a post's payout period closes, so you won't see rewards show up at the same time as your vote. Also curation rewards will be low at first, but they grow larger as you begin to accumulate more and more Steem Power, so don't be discouraged and stick with it to grow your account over time.

This post offers a pretty good explanation covering the basics of how Steemvoter works & how to get the most out of your voting rules: https://steemit.com/steemit/@cryptomancer/steem-voter-review-bringing-bot-power-to-the-masses

Thanks! I think the problem is that I'm using too low vote power (30%) on popular posts and my SP is extremely low, since I just started. Still I thought It would bring me something, but it looks like i get exactly 0.000 rewards from these.
I'll try and add VP to my rules. Do you think I can get away with anything less than 100%?

The article was great, however I still lack some basic knowledge about the STEEM mechanics. In time perhaps I'll get better.

2 SP is really low, you do have some delegated SP but you do need more of your own SP to earn properly. Try power up a bit of Steem, I don't think our voting rules will even work with a 2 SP account unless you paid for premium services. Try powerup to 50 SP at least, and use 100% power on fewer posts until you get over 500SP when you can reduce your power slightly.

Is steemvoter down? @thecryptodrive

@thecryptodrive or @cryptomancer

For some reason the ssl certificate doesn't work. I get the error: SSL received a record that exceeded the maximum permissible length. Error code: SSL_ERROR_RX_RECORD_TOO_LONG

The non SSL version of the site works and the bot still gives upvotes, but I can't log in and if i request to change the password i get another error: Unknown Error, please contact us.

please help?

We migrated servers and had a DNS change, we are busy setting up SSL, in the meantime the https:// prefix may not work, go to http://steemvoter.com

No problem I'll wait for the SSL version. On the normal one my log in credentials are not remembered by the explorer. Thanks for the response and gl.

Awesome, thanks!

use 100% power on fewer posts

What do you mean by fewer posts? like less than 40 / day?

You'll have to find the sweet spot that keeps your voting power above 80% start with 30 x 100% votes and see.

Thanks again.
