Today I spent part of the morning in Llandeilo with @tinygalaxy.
It was such a gloomy morning; it felt more like an autumn day than a spring day, but you could still see some signs ...
This reminded me of when I used to try and upload 'yellow themed' photos for yellow Wednesday, alas, I never got much feedback so I now just upload a photo or two a day about things I get up to...
It was interesting to see this ivy covered tree in a churchyard in the middle of Llandeilo.
I would not want to make this post too gloomy, but it was so dark and misty. That's another view of that churchyard. It was peaceful; it was also a big contrast to this hidden alley (town) garden. We just sneaked in to have a closer look.
We were hoping to go into a craft shop, but it opened at 10 am (rather a late start IMHO). In fact it was a sleepy place and there was generally not much activity at all.
Of course one of my favourite views was this contrast between the stone wall and the araucaria tree (or monkey puzzle tree)... originating from South America. I wonder how old it was.
It looks a lovely village! Whats in the craft shop? Wool, paper? All sorts?
Cant beat a sleepy village sometimes =D

The shop was called Crafts Alive and it's a cooperative. Well worth the wait in the cold but a bit expensive for me.
I only managed to buy a small crazy patchwork coaster from Pear Tree Patchwork... I would really like to learn that now - it looks tricky.
