"Only in the Philippines"

_________________________

Another reason to celebrate and feast, i present to you our appetizer taken with alcohol or what we call "PULUTAN"

_________________________

Only in the Philippines, everyday is a holiday, Drinking alcohol and eating exotic foods has become part of our culture, and anywhere you go, no matter what time it is, theres always a gathering of happy people enjoying company of each other.

IMG_3590.JPG this orange ball of goodness is called "Kwek-Kwek and tokneneng" it is a street food made of fried quail eggs and chicken eggs dipped in orange batter its a good source of protein for our troops

IMG_3602.JPG
IMG_3603.JPG
"One day old chick", sorry for the vegans and animal lovers out there as some of our troops need a source of protein and calcium its good when dipped in spicy vinegar
(most poultry owners reject male baby chicks as they prefer female for fast reproductions and egg production and females grow fast for meat production)

IMG_3592.JPGIMG_3591.JPG
ah my favorite only in the Philippines you can find this street food "Isaw na Manok" or chicken intestines, sounds yucky but its very good this food takes a lot of courage and makes our troops brave and strong

IMG_3604.JPG
IMG_3598.JPG
Only in the Philippines that this delicacy can be found, even the ingredients can only be made in the Philippines "Vigan Empanada" an orange crispy fried crust, stuffed with papaya , vigan longganisa (like a pork sausage but way way much better, kesong puti (white cheese and eggs, when you try this you will even forget your name as it is certified yummy in my tummy

IMG_3596.JPG
"Pancit Malabon" this noodles is to die for, is better than any noodles that you had in your life, the noodles was boiled on shrimp juice and it has pork seafood, and vegetables a complete meal that could give all the essentials vitamins and minerals to keep our troops sharp and for long life

IMG_3593.JPG
For dessert we have "Kutsinta" its sweet and chewy and its exercises and stretches our mouths for more challenges to come. Its better dipped in shredded fresh coconut

IMG_3594.JPG
IMG_3595.JPG
and for our energy drink its the essence of the coconut tree, the mother of all trees, i present you "Tuba or Lambanog" this is Only in the Philippines, where we make coconut wine, and its really good and healthy as its it pure and organic! It will make our troops nourished and gather with a group of like minded people to plan for our strategy this is where our intelligence come in!

IMG_3599.JPGand that wraps up our orange tuesday and this words i say to all of you.. listen closely as i can only say it once..or i might forget

Divided we starve, United we eat and get drunk... hic... hic...😴😴

Yes its all good street food, thanks for the comment @snailpath

OMG! Super miss ko Pinoy food, its been 6 years na since the last time na kumain or naka tikim ako ng street food.. Nice post Kabayan! :)

Salamat @shahani, ako kauwi ko lang after 5 years pero nadito nako ulit sa california? Taga saan kayo kabayan?

Ay buti ka pa kabayan nka uwi na, tga dito lang po Singapore pero madalang umuwi kasi my work.

Hehehe. Dami masasarap na pulutan. Magdamag na lasingan yan. Naglalaway na ako sa gutom.

Ayus shot na! @gabriellasam

Oh no!! My suspicion was correct, #teamphilippines plans to win with their crazy street food. Probably have a color for every day in the rainbow.

Hehe thanks @crypto-investor yes sir your are right, we are divided into 4,105 islands but united as one when it comes to food

Very strong finish! Nice post. What a strategy, have food that only your own troops are brave enough to eat. Any invading troops will starve!

See how brave we are @swenger? We never falter, not even in front of food. Specially not food. Lol

I think I saw a few of those foods on the USA television show "Survivor" where part of it was challenges in eating "unusual" food.

Did I hear unusual? You may want to check my post from about a month ago lol.

And yeah popular challenges in survivor or amazing race hehe

https://steemit.com/food/@dreamiely/unusual-food-in-the-philippines

Haha true @swenger
