This just in. Field reports indicate Private @SirCork Benjamin, SSN: 867-5309 has failed to report to post for duty for over 72 hours. Last seen by British Operatives who retrieved him from a bivouac under a pine tree on Tuesday, it was believed he had returned to the rear guard for supplies, ammunition, brief R&R and was expected to return immediately to the battlefield.

Pvt. Benjamin failed to report at the CO office however and the British had since departed back to their units before this discovery was made. At this time, available resources will not be sufficient to mount search operations, and at this time, there whereabouts of the Private are not known.

Radio reports from the Brits indicate that they were "greatly fatigued" during the journey back to the base while transporting Private Benjamin and routine equipment checkins discovered that their canteens, rations and other gear were missing from their Dumb-vee upon arrival. Further they neither one have any recollection after having accomplishing half of their mission and thought to have perhaps come into contact with their onboard supply of the chemical agent XXXX-GOLD.

Affected as they were by the chemical agents on board the Dumb-vee, it is possible, said the shorter one with the bad teeth, that @SirCork as they had come to know him by his platoons nickname for him, may have indeed exited the vehicle while in transit.

It is noteworthy that Private Benjamin's dog tags were in fact found on the floor in the rear seating area of the British Dumb-vee troop carrier vehicle.

Per regulations, after 72 hours, a soldier who has not checked in is presumed possibly captured, missing in action or deceased.

At this time we have no further information and all units are advised to remain vigilant in observing and questioning any personnel who may be Private Benjamin or know of his whereabouts.
