If you want steem notifications straight to your phone, and the ability to custom choose what notifications are important to you, you should try
STEEMWATCH
You have the choice of connecting it to Discord, Telegram, Slack or even steemit.chat!
Of all the steem notification apps, including the steemit.com notifications steemwatch.com is by far my favourite!
You can track who follows or unfollows you (or any account you choose)
Track transfers to or from accounts
Subscribe to specific users posts or specific tags
Get notified when you're tagged or get a reply
And even get notified every time you catch a vote (which could get annoying)
...and much more !
As far as notification apps go, this is the one I highly recommend!
Discord happens to be my favourite app for networking with the STEEM community and so it is the one I was really hoping to get a dedicated notifications bot for. Once again, you have a choice of FOUR different apps to connect to your steemwatch account, so if discord isn't for you, you can always use Telegram, Slack or even steemit.chat.
As thanks to @void the developer of steemwatch he will be an 80% beneficiary of this post as he just notified me by comment but didn't seem to seek rewards by announcing it on his blog.

I am working with the #promo-uk team and @stephenkendal to promote steemit on a UK tour around 22 universities during freshers week!
